Well, I can finally spill the beans…. we’re expecting baby #3!
A quick little story about this special babe…
On February 19th, 2012, my grandfather had his very last birthday. On March 4th, 2012, he was surrounded by his family as we said our goodbyes and shared stories. My grandfather played a HUGE roll in my life and was my idol with his camera around his neck, everywhere he went. Documenting everyone’s milestones with one click of the button. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be him. As I sat that day next to him, holding his head up on my shoulder, I spoke about the plans of the new studio and talked ‘camera’ with him. And then I moved onto sharing my thoughts on baby #3. He still didn’t say much, but I still talked his ear off like a 2 year old toddler. My dear grandfather past away hours later that night.
My due date is February 19th, the day my grandfather will be celebrating his first birthday in Heaven.
Baby #3 is a blessing from above.
And since this is our last baby, I wanted to document it all. Just as I do for other families and just as my grandfather did for others as well.
So tonight we headed out to the field, the most peaceful and serene location nearby to get some announcement photos. It was perfect. The rain even held off until we got into our driveway!
Later when I began editing them, I couldn’t help but stop and stare several times. I feel so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing family. As a child, I always dreamt of having the perfect little family. Now, I’m looking right at it.
